Plastic surgery

The department of plastic surgery corrects the function and shape of a body part. A distinction is made between reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

What can we help you with?

Reconstructive surgery (restorative)

Reconstructive surgery aims to correct abnormal structures of the body due to developmental disorders, congenital defects, accidents, infections, tumors or other disease symptoms. Usually these procedures are performed to improve functions or to approach a normal appearance as closely as possible. An example is breast reconstruction after an amputation.

Aesthetic surgery (cosmetic)

Esthetic surgery is performed to restore forms but also functions of a particular body part.
Examples are:

  • facelift
  • eyelid surgery
  • eyebrow lift
  • skin resurfacing
  • wrinkle correction
  • nose job
  • ear correction
  • scar correction
  • liposuction
  • thigh lift
  • arm lift
  • breast augmentation
  • breast reduction
  • breast lift
  • abdominoplasty tummy tuck
