One day a week, she will also work at Maastricht UMC+ in the inflammatory bowel disease department.
After obtaining a master's degree in medicine with distinction from KU Leuven, Dr Kim Gysen further specialised in internal medicine. In recent years, she has further specialised in gastroenterology at AZ Sint-Maarten Mechelen and at Antwerp University Hospital. She is also not a stranger to our hospital, as she already got acquainted with the internal medicine department during her specialist training.
