In November, we welcome Dr Lieselot Smolders as a new hematologist within our internal medicine service. She will join our current physician corps as an attending physician in general hematology.
After obtaining a master's degree in medicine at KU Leuven, she further specialized at KU Leuven. She gained valuable experience within the field at UZ Leuven and Erasmus MC Rotterdam. She obtained her accreditation as a general internist in 2023 and her accreditation as a hematologist in 2024.
