During a sleep study (polysomnography), we study sleep quality and breathing patterns at night. This examination is essential for the diagnosis and choice of treatment for breathing-related sleep disorders, such as sleep apnea.
The pneumologist specializes in breathing-related sleep problems. In addition, the neurologist specializes in problems of a neurological nature. The doctors conduct the examination in a multidisciplinary collaboration and thus can find out what is causing your sleep problem.
