As a patient, you are entitled to:

• a quality service
• free choice of health care provider
• information about your health condition and proposed treatment
• informed consent or refusal of treatment or examination
• to know whether the professional is insured and authorized to practice his profession
• a carefully maintained patient file with the possibility of inspection and copying
• protection of privacy
• pain treatment
• complaint mediation
