Dr. Daan Detroyer studied medicine at KU Leuven, where he graduated as a doctor with high honors in 2009.
He enjoyed further training as a specialist at UZ Leuven, among other places, and graduated as a nephrologist-internist in 2015. After a period as nephrology resident at UZ Gasthuisberg, he has been a staff member in the nephrology endocrinology department at AZ KLINA and AZ Voorkempen since 2016.
Dr. Daan Detroyer will join our team as a nephrologist, with special interests in peritoneal dialysis, ion disorders, metabolic screening kidney stones and systemic diseases.
