We welcome Dr Emilie Lavrysen as a new ear, nose and throat specialist within our Head and neck centre with specific interests in swallowing and voice disorders and functional nasal surgery.
She will join our current physician corps as an attending physician in general and pediatric nasal, throat and ear diseases. Furthermore, she will focus on thyroid surgery, ear corrections, laryngology, phoniatrics, skin tumors of the head and neck, reconstructive and plastic surgery of the face.
After obtaining a master of medicine with high distinction at KU Leuven, she further specialized at the University of Antwerp. She gained valuable experience within the field at Jessa Hospital Hasselt, Haga Hospital The Hague and University Hospital Antwerp.
