Oncological rehabilitation
An oncology rehab can be followed if you experience discomfort during and after your cancer treatment. You may suffer from side effects such as reduction of muscle mass, increase in fat tissue, osteoporosis, fatigue and mood disorders.
Purpose
During rehabilitation, the main emphasis is on exercise. We work on physical fitness in small groups according to an individual schedule.
As a result, you will notice the following changes:
- better condition and better muscle fitness
- favorable effect on oxygen uptake and blood circulation
- less fatigue
- good feeling: you accept a challenge and make an effort
By training in a group you create a group feeling where experiences among fellow sufferers can be shared. Together we work on regaining your quality of life.
Preparation
Before your participation, you have a consultation with the rehabilitation doctor. After this, you can start physical rehabilitation under the guidance of a physical therapist.
