Bikefitting

A bikefitting consists of a dynamic bike position analysis. This analysis aims to maximize your power to speed without loss of comfort. A correct bike position can make cycling more pleasant and prevent complaints.

Complaints

During the analysis we pay attention to saddle pain, back, neck and shoulder complaints and wrist, knee and foot complaints. This analysis is done by a specialized ergonomist who will help you adjust your cycling position correctly.

Your individual abilities, physique and training goals are taken into account. So the screening also takes into account the type of bike, the planned cycling environment, on/off road cycling,...

Adjustments

Depending on the findings, several elements can be adjusted:

  • The handlebars can be adjusted in height. You will be advised on the best length of the stem and width of the handlebars. The placement of grips can be adjusted.
  • The saddle can be adjusted in height, tilt or setback. Advice can also be given toward an alternative saddle.
  • Foot position and cleat placement are adjusted correctly. You will also receive advice on shoes and pedals.

These adjustments are done on the spot so you can immediately assess your new position. Bikefitting can also be useful for recreational cyclists to prevent injuries and optimize the cycling experience.
